Was this aircraft ever stationed at “Bunker Hill” air force base in Indiana.
Yes. In 1959, the 305th Bombardment Wing at Bunker Hill AFB, originally equipped with the Boeing B-47 Stratojet, was the second Strategic Air Command Wing to receive the Convair B-58A Hustler. The aircraft in the photograph, however, 59-2442, was assigned to the 43rd Bombardment Wing at Carswell AFB, Texas.
