04 Apr 1975, Tan Son Nhut Airbase, South Vietnam — A United States C5A cargo plane lifts off the runway here carrying orphans to Clark Air Base in the Phillippines. The plane minutes later crashed off the end of the runway. Officials said the plane crashed one mile off the runway after the pressurization failed.
