Correction, this is a Boeing F15E Strike Eagle. Boeing bought out MD in 1997.
McDonnell Douglas was the genesis of the design in 1974.
That’s like saying a Douglas DC-3 is a Boeing. 🙂 This aircraft was produced by McDonnell Douglas in 1990.
